Does True Love Marriage provide matching services or a dating network?
We are not at present offering any sort of 'personals' type of services. We leave matching and dating to the wide selection available on the Internet. The PSProgram greatly enhances any 'matching service.' If you are already involved with one of the many matching options, then you can utilize the PSProfile and VIP Survey as tools for your relationship. If you are considering an online matching site, then we can recommend Tickle. They are familiar with the PSProgram and we feel Tickle is the best in the business.
What is your Compatibility
Service?
Our True Love Marriage Compatibility Service starts with a Compatibility Report. The Compatibility Report provides professional advice for enhancing areas of compatibility and improving areas of difference in your relationship. Please note that the Compatibility Report requires that each member of the couple has already completed the Values, Interests, and Priorities (VIP) Survey and the PSProfile questionnaire. Both individual's traits and their values, interests, and priorities are compared for compatibility and then given a Rating.
Our True Love Marriage Compatibility Service can then match you to one of our counselors, who can work with you, over email, over the telephone, or even in-person to help you and your significant other enhance your compatibility, reduce potential sources for conflict, and establish a foundation for True Love. This national network of counselors is being developed now.
How does having a PSProfile help strengthen and develop positive relationships with others?
The PSProfile is based on the truth and validity of the concept of compatibility. We define compatibility as "the capacity to live in harmony with another." This means that the more a couple agrees, and is alike, the better the relationship. Our PSProfile questionnaire and VIP survey provide reliable and necessary data for understanding the individual and the couple for compatibility and marriage or friendship. The PSProfile can be used to give guidance for creating and developing the True Self, True Love, and a happy, successful marriage.
This report stands alone as adequate for the individual. Singles who are dating will find this very helpful in knowing what to look for in a possible good friend or mate. We recommend that couples get their own individual PSProfile reports and compare/contrast them to find the areas of harmony, stress and conflict in their own relationship. We also provide our True Love Marriage Compatibility Service for couples who wish to have us analyze the compatibility of their PSProfiles. And we recommend that you use Dr. Morris' book The Quest for True Love to guide you in comparing and contrasting your personalities, values, interests, priorities and a basic understanding of Human Nature!
What are the advantages of PSProfile over other personality profiles?
The PSProfile is a psychological report that identifies the needs of the individual for both the CONSCIOUS SELF-IMAGE and the UNCONSCIOUS TRUE SELF. It also provides an appropriate guide for the Spiritual Life. No other personality profile provides such accurate and practical applications. The material has been validated by hundreds of in private counseling and seminar groups.
How does the PSProfile characterize a personality?
PSProfile holds that there are eight basic needs-related traits which motivate us to behave in certain patterns. Each of your traits has a basic need that must be met or frustration and stress is generated. The dynamics of the personality traits and needs interacting with one another creates the whole personality and determines how we relate to others and a lifestyle that is either good or bad for us. Learning about your own combination of the eight traits can help you get to know your true self.
The eight traits are: Self-awareness, Sociability, Dominance, Order, Materialism, Energy, Decisiveness, and the Ego/Drive Ratio.

What is the Self-awareness
trait?
Self-awareness is our sensitivity to the needs, thoughts and feelings of others and our inner self.

Sociability is our need for social involvement with groups and/or individuals.
- What is the Dominance
trait?
Dominance is the need for control of others or resistance to being controlled.
- What is the Order trait?
Order is related to the need for order and related to how we organize and plan. We all do this however the intensity of our need determines how we do it. Some have a high need which causes us to prefer and seek detail and orderliness. Some have a low need which causes them to resist such detail and orderliness. This particular need is critical to choosing a career or job and should be as part of our lifestyle. High need would prefer to be an engineer or chemist while a low need would prefer to be a forest ranger or sales.

A high Materialism need is marked by a strong drive for material gain, and a powerful competitive streak. A low Materialism need is manifested by indifference to material possessions and income.

Energy is our emotional and physical stamina for action or the preference for Ideas and meditation and thoughtful discussion.
- What is the Decisiveness
trait?
Decisiveness is related to problem-solving and decision-making. The low need sees in black and white and wants to make quick decisions. The high need sees in shades of gray and likes to take a lot time to making important decisions.

This represents the Ego and self-image, which is experienced as Critical or Non-critical. It is a Key to our True Self.
How is the Values Interests Priorities survey helpful, and is it worth filling out?
The unique needs of our personalities guide us in choosing and developing our value systems. Each of our values systems consists of morals and ethics, personal interests, and priorities. Gaining insight to your own values, interests, and priorities can guide you in identifying and achieving your goals and ideal lifestyle. Our Values, Interests, and Priorities (VIP) Survey is critical in establishing compatibility for a marriage. Although the VIP Survey is optional while taking the PSProfile as an individual, couples participating in our compatibility program must fill it out, as it provides necessary data for identifying their compatibility.
Are there applications of the PSProfile other than to marriage?
The PSProfile has been applied to many realms other than marriage compatibility. The PSProfile is a reliable and valuable instrument for guiding people into creative, productive, and successful careers and lifestyles. While True Love Marriage is dedicated to leveraging the PSProfile for use specifically with marriage compatibility, the PSProfile has also been applied in all of the following ways:
- Management Training. The descriptive statements of a full PSProfile report have been applied to the personality responsibilities required to make a good manager and a leader. Concepts from the PSProfile can be used to assess how employees are getting along with others, and to help resolve political and personality clashes in the workplace.
- Real Estate Sales. There are many activities in real estate that are related to personality traits. While knowing about your own personality is very helpful, most realtors have found the PSProfile most helpful in assessing the personality of their clients, and thereby learning to better address their needs.
All PSProfile, personal, and contact information submitted to us will be kept private, and will never be sold to a third party. We believe that you have a right to live in peace without telemarketing or corporate newsletters, so contact information you give us will only be used to respond to your requests or to send you your PSProfile analysis. As licensed psychological counselors, we are legally obligated to keep your PSProfile report and Questionnaire answers strictly confidential. No other use of information is possible except by your written permission.
